Bookstore for Students in Need Opens at Our University
A bookstore has been opened within the Turkish-German University Youth Center, which will provide students in need with free access to textbooks. The project aims to support equal opportunities in access to education and contribute to students' academic success.
Visit in Honor of Elderly Respect Week (March 18–24)
Building an Intergenerational Bridge Through Social Responsibility: In collaboration with the Turkish-German University’s Social Responsibility Coordination Unit and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, students visited the Üsküdar Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Kerim-Nilüfer Gökay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. They had warm conversations with the residents, offered refreshments, and presented small gifts. The event helped build a meaningful bond between the younger and older generations.
University Clothing House Expands Reach with New Improvements
The project carried out to increase the capacity of our University's Clothing House has been successfully completed. Thanks to the work carried out in cooperation with the Social Responsibility Coordination and SKS, donations will be collected and distributed more systematically; those in need will be able to benefit from the Clothing House on a regular basis.
Visit to the Penitentiary Institution and Moral Support
Students and research assistants of the Turkish-German University Faculty of Law paid a visit to the Ümraniye Type E Closed Penal Institution on December 16, 2024. During the event, the reflections of the execution law in practice were observed and moral support was provided to the prisoners, strengthening their sense of social responsibility.
